Big Mountain Productions announced today the appointment of Donna Higgins as head of production and Lucy Wedlock to the newly created position of series producer.
Higgins is a line producer with 20 years of extensive experience across multiple genres of television. She has worked in the UK, the US and Canada across the production spectrum, including live location and studio OBs, entertainment, lifestyle, music, drama and factual documentaries. After working as a senior production manager at the UK’s Dragonfly Film & Television, she line produced a number of projects for Blast Films and Double Act Films. Her recent credits include ‘Web of Lies” Blast Films for Investigation Discovery, ‘Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet’ Double Act Films for Animal Planet and ‘Flying to the Ends of the Earth’ Blast Films for Channel 4.
Wedlock comes to the rapidly expanding Northern Ireland indie after a spate of series production and directing roles with major broadcasters including Channel 4, ITV, BBC 3 & RTÉ. Her credits include One Born Every Minute (Channel 4), Four In A Bed(C4), Come Dine With Me, (C4), I’m A Celebrity Get Me out of Here (ITV1) Don’t Drop The Baby (BBC 3) and Ireland’s Fittest Family (RTÉ1).
